Players who enjoy Ballinrobe’s weekly Whist Drive every Wednesday night in the Crann Mor Centre, The Neale Road, recently donated the proceeds from one night to the Campaign to Rebuild Ballinrobe Town Hall.
A total of €773 was received, and Town Hall representatives Aidrienne Gleeson (back left) and Rob Murphy (back right) were on hand to accept the cheque.
New players are welcomed weekly at the Whist Drive – no previous experience is necessary as the game can be picked up quickly and members are happy to guide newcomers along. It is an enjoyable game for people of all ages.
