On St Patrick’s Day, locals and visitors alike got a sneak preview of the central role the new Ballinrobe Town Hall will play in community life. While only the front rooms of the hall in the old Valkenburg complex were open for a music session, food, and light refreshments after the parade, the event showcased the potential of the fully refurbished town hall as a bustling community hub.
The forthcoming major refurbishment project will create a venue that will serve as a much-needed space for gatherings and events. Its location is sure to be a driving force in the revitalisation of the town centre.
