Efforts are underway in Ballinrobe to restore a town hall facility to the town.
A meeting of interested individuals took place last week to continue to explore the possibility of having the hall rebuilt at the old location on the Neale Road.
At this preliminary stage, a number of issues need to be explored, not least the prospect of sufficient finance being raised from public and private sources to fund the building of the new hall.
